This course is for staff that have completed their induction training
and require an up date. It aims to offer an opportunity to review current
legislation and policy and ensure competency in practice.
The training will focus on what staff know, and how they are putting
it into practice. The trainer will engage the staff with discussion,
debate and practical excercises, ultimately aiming to update and upskill
them.

- Health and Safety ( Health and Safety at Work
Act, COSHH and RIDDOR) - Safeguarding Adults ( types of abuse, what
constitutes abuse, signs and indicators, reporting and recording) - CPR and the recovery position
- Infection Control (causes and spread of infection,
safe practices, use of equipment)
