3 Day First Aid at Work
It is a requirement of the Health & Safety law that employers should provide a safe and healthy environment for their employees. If the assessment of First Aid needs highlight the need for qualified First Aiders, then this course will provide you with suitable, highly trained personnel.
This comprehensive 3-day course covers a wide range of First Aid emergencies, enabling all participants to deal with an emergency situation with confidence in a prompt, safe and effective way.
This course will give participants a qualification to the highest level of First Aid, meeting the statutory requirements of the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
All successful students will be issued with a new First Aid at Work Certificate, lasting for a period 3 years along with a wallet-sized plastic card detailing their qualifications.
2 Day First Aid at Work refresher
It is a requirement of the Health & Safety law that employers should provide a safe and healthy environment for their employees.
If the assessment of First Aid needs highlight the need to maintain the qualification of your First Aiders, then this course will provide you with that.
This comprehensive 2-day course covers a wide range of First Aid emergencies, enabling all participants to deal with an emergency situation with confidence in a prompt, safe and effective way.
In addition to this, should there have been any change to protocols during their initial qualification, then this will be updated.
All successful students will be issued with a new First Aid at Work Certificate, lasting for a period of 3 years, along with a wallet-sized plastic card detailing their qualification.
1 Day Emergency First Aid
A range of subjects is covered including:-
- Responsibilities and reporting, legalities and procedures
- Resuscitation
- Fainting and seizures
- Assessment of the situation
- Heart attack, angina
- Choking, bleeding, shock, burns and scolds
- Anaphylaxis
- Bleeding control
- Recovery Position
- Foreign Objects
Assessment is ongoing by the instructor, and a three-year qualification will be issued to those who meet the criteria. In addition, the HSE strongly recommend that all students undergo an annual refresher programme of three hours..
HALF Day Emergency Response
This is a short 3-hour course in Basic Life Support
The aim of this course is to enable all students to deal with an unconscious casualty who is breathing, and how to deal with an unconscious casualty who is not breathing.
This course is neither HSE Approved nor recognised, but it is an ideal course for any age group who would like to learn critical life saving procedures either at work or at home.
